New Santa

Hey everybody I will first like to thank you all for such a kind welcome for those of you that don't know I'm Santa Chris Allen and the 2011 holiday season will be the first time I will be portraying Santa Claus. This all started last year on Christmas Eve when my friend and I were talking about portraying Santa and his Helpers for our families I remember telling her if she was serious to let so I can get a suit made for myself. After the holiday season was over i started going to work looking up different beards and places that make custom made Santa suits. Once my friend realized I was taking this seriously she was on board as my Mrs.Claus and and our two other friends jumped on as my elves. The main thing I have been asked why am I planning so early ahead of the holiday season? My answer was its better to start planning now so by time the time Christmas comes we'll be ready and don't have to rush. My question to all you my fellow clausnet memebers is do have any advice for my little team? I need advice from all of the Santa's, elves and Mrs.Claus. Also do any of you know where I can get a beard similar to the beard and wig set Macy's Santa wears?

dont settle on the first set you see. get what you want. it may come to you piece by piece. When the special pieces are supposed to come to you, they will. You will pay a few hundred for the good sets. and remember its for the kids and the magic, so have fun and be the best you can be

If you were like me starting off you had to stay in a budget. As Young Santa said look around find what you like and buy as you can. After a few years before you know it you will have a good collection....Best advise is to have fun doing it. I got into it for the reactions from the kids. I make a little money on the side but its not the reason I do it. Each time I put on the red suit and potray Santa it brings a joy to my heart.
