The few existing audio versions are, to my knowldege, those taken directly from footage on YouTube. Also, if you check out my segment "The Lyrics," at http://kringlequest....m/sclyrics.html , I refer to Leslie Bricusse's comment that he was not specifically pleased with what the Salkinds had wanted to do with his contributions. Bricusse says that the Salkinds had originally wanted John Williams to write the Santa Claus music, but that Williams could not do so due to his various coomitments, especially those with Steven Spielberg. The producers had to then seek out an alternative, and they eventually chose Mancini because, presumably, he was available.
You'd need to put together a really legitimate campaign if you really wanted a CD-quailty version of the Santa Claus: The Movie soundtrack. That, and the little problem of who controls existing rights to the Mancini/Bricusse material from that film, except, of course, for 'Christmas All Over the World,' by Bill House and John Hobbs; and 'Shouldn't Do That,' by Nick Beggs, Stuart Croxford, Neal Askew and Steve Askew.
Hope these pointers can be of some help.

What I found is that somebody has placed the entire soundtrack on YouTube: http://www.youtube.c...ovie soundtrack
That may not be the exact answer you're looking for, but you could run the videos through a program to rip the audio from the video.
Hope this helps.

Perfect! Thanks!
Well, guys, not only does this mean that I have to put the link to that YouTube channel on my pages; I may start renewing the original commitment I made when I first conceived the KringleQuest website: namely, the reissuing of the Santa Claus: The Movie score, composed and conducted by Henry Mancini, and featuring previously unreleased material. In the segment "The Lyrics" you'll see a link to the now-online-only Film Score Monthly Magazine --- http://www.filmscoremonthly.com --- for about a year or so, I tried to contact FSM's editors to make the attempt at putting out a complete Mancini Santa Claus soundtrack, only to be told that they couldn't be of much help.
