I ordered one of the pocket watches from Bronners. It has a sleigh scene that revolves around the face and plays music.

How much are you paying for the cooling vest? I found a place that has them for $80.00. Used by Fire Departments. and are sold by a fire equipment business. They are worn under bunker gear and supposed to last approx 6 hours. And having been a fire fighter, if they last that long under bunker gear, they ought to last a lot longer under a Santa suit. Bunker gear gets very hot. If any of you get a chance, go to your local fire departmant and tell them you want to try on a set and wear it for a bit if possible. Most departments have extra sets. You'll see waht I mean.

The last thing I bought was materials for Santa vests. After my frustration of looking online for the type vests I want, in the size I need, and at a price I can afford, I found it very disappointing. So my wife and I decided to go ahead and find a seamstress. We are using a lady my wife used to work with and we have known for a few years. I've seen some of her work and she does quite a few things for other people as well. I can't wait to see the final products. I've got to admit I'm also a little nervous about how they will turn out. I've also discussed with her the possibility of making some custom suits for me in the future. She is very confident in her work which helps my nervousness just a little bit. I guess its the fact that I'm taking another step deeper into my Santa persona by getting an official seamstress.

2 pair square rimmed reading glasses at 3.50 strength from our Dollar Store. Good for Santa's appearance and just strong enough to allow me to read something with slightly bigger than normal letters (font14) would be good.
