The motion was carried by the board by unanimous vote and the donation has been made. Please bring your own lawn chairs and if you like wading…we have a creek for you. You will need water shoes and towels.

9th Annual Northwest Santa Workshop

It is without a doubt that I am very excited and happy to announce that Santa Johnathan Burton, host of The Professional Santa Claus Podcast will be our special guest speaker Saturday October 6th at our 9th Annual Northwest Santa Workshop. The annual event is held at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA and is a two day event Oct 5th & 6th. This year we have announced two $250 scholarships will be awarded to NORPAC members to attend the workshop. Registrations and room bookings with be opening soon - stay tuned for more details.

It's hard to believe that NORPAC SANTAS will be hosting our 7th Annual Northwest Santa Workshop at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound,WA on November 4th & 5th with early arrival and check in on the 3rd. We will be gathering together for a fun weekend of networking, learning and kinship among our fellow brothers and sisters in red and green. Yes, I said green! If you've attended one of our workshops, you know The Grinch himself always makes an appearance. We will be having panel discussions on Scheduling and Booking Agents & Business Organization. Guest Speaker Dr. Shawna Purcell on helping Santa & Mrs Claus stay healthy. Also, Christmas Karaoke with Santa Ramsey Cowlinshaw, Santa Olympics and Fun Entertainment with Danny Vernon's "Illusion Of Elvis" show. And as always, the now infamous Santa Bucket Dump in the water park area of Great Wolf Lodge. If you'll be in the area and would like to join us, there's still time to register and book a room at GWL. Although, staying at GWL is not a requirement of attending the workshop.

NORPAC~SANTAS have several events scheduled for this summer and fall. First we are hosting Santa Gordon Bailey's Santa and the Business of Being Santa School July 24th and 25th in Lakewood, WA. Then on July 26th we will be teaming up with The Tacoma Rainiers minor league baseball team and Pierce County TOYS FOR TOTS for a toy drive before the Rainiers ball game at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma,WA. August 1st will be our annual Picnic/BBQ at the home of Santa Ernie and Ginny Walker. And just confirmed this week, our 6th Annual NORPAC SANTAS Workshop & Conference at Great Wolf Lodge-Grand Mound, November 5th, 6th and 7th.... and then the real fun begins for most of us!! HoHoHo!

The Debut of Elf Sarah Sugarplum

Last weekend at our NORPAC ~ Santas Conference & Workshop at Great Wolf Lodge, my daughter Sarah made her debute as Elf Sarah Sugarplum. It was a very proud moment to say the least. She walked with all the Santas, Mrs. Claus', and Elves in the Parade of Santas and handed out Christmas stickers to all the children.

Our local group located in the Seattle,Tacoma,Olympia area of Washington State is growing and growing and we are looking forward to another wonderful year. We are making plans for our 3rd Annual Santa Claus Convention & Workshop at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA. We are also voting on Board Members and collecting membership dues. We will be meeting 4 times this year for lunch and networking in addition to our Convention in November. Having more than 5 members of FORBS in our organization, we are a local chapter of FORBS but do not require any member to be a member of FORBS, nor do we require members to be "Real Bearded" Santas. Our organization is open to all who want to help spread Christmas cheer and the magic of Santa Claus. We are really an organization of sharing with each other and learning from each other to be the best at our craft that we can be. We had several members attend the FORBS Lunch & Reunion in San Diego. We had one member attend The Santa Roundtable in Atlanta last week and we hope to have a couple members attend the Jim Yellig Workshop in Indiana.
