Toys R Us is gearing up to make a brick and mortar retail comeback this holiday season.

The iconic toy seller will open new locations inside Macy's department stores from late July through October 15.

They were the go to place over here too, a real shame they went to the wall;

It would be nice if they manage to revive again

I used to shop at Toys R Us for gifts when my children were small. Then something changed in the stores, they became disheveled, uncared for, they weren't dirty, just that stock wasn't on the shelves, too few cashiers, way too few stock clerks to keep shelves neat and orderly, employees who were apathetic towards their jobs, parents who left their children to play there while they went elsewhere to shop (more often than not in other stores in the mall). I hope that these problems can be addressed when the new version opens, and I truly hope they succeed. It would be great to have a place to look at and touch the toys we are expected to know about.
